Kathy is the owner and trainer at Bodyworks and her focus is creating a healthy and fit environment so that each client can have a better quality of life. She enjoys working with the older population, challenges with health issues and anyone who wants to achieve a more balanced life through fitness.
Her passion for fitness began at an early age. She was a gymnast through her grammar school years and then began long distance running in her early teens. While in college studying nutrition she worked in health clubs teaching aerobics and training clients.
Kathy specializes in core and strength training to increase overall energy and help create lean body mass. She combines cardiovascular and heart rate zone training, core and stability exercises with strength and resistance training, and integrates stretching and foam rolling techniques to help keep the physical body balanced. All of these are combined to create powerfully efficient programs for her clientele. She is adamant about form and integrity of movement.
In addition to fitness training at Bodyworks, Kathy enjoys wake boarding, snow skiing, running, cycling and yoga.
